Business Plans: Keynote Presentations

Mac users are often highly devoted to Apple and defend it as if their Macs were part of their families. For whatever reasons individuals have for preferring their Macs, it is a common judgement that the Mac is better at handling, manipulating, and viewing multimedia files and graphics.
The Macs superb handling of multimedia makes it a sure platform for developing presentations. In the last several years, business presentations have gotten to be quite complex. Slide shows are no longer merely pie charts, bullet lists, and bar graphs. As often as not, now, slide shows will include video clips, 3D animations, and talking avatars. Some in the business world have lamented this turn of events, saying that presentations are becoming more about entertainment than business.
As long as you keep your presentation focused, however, a little digital trickery can still be impressive. For this purpose, Apples Keynote presentation software is just as good as (and some would say even better than) Microsofts PowerPoint software. Apple is quite good at the finer points of presenting. They do transitions, themes, and animations very well. Apple is not likely to overtake Microsoft any time soon, but they have diverged to a point where they can at least coexist.
Keynote and PowerPoint Together
One of the easiest lures for the Mac is that it is becoming ever easier to interface with a PC-dominated world. Apples Keynote software will even allow users to import files from PowerPoint, and other applications, to be manipulated and used in Keynote presentations. This means that you can also take advantage of the plug-ins available for PowerPoint. These can allow you to create presentations that are unique and engaging by using effects that are not part of the standard PowerPoint package. By its very nature, the Mac must always strive for compatibility and that has turned into one of its biggest strengths, and many people are taking advantage of this.
